I’m caught up in the air. Never here, not yet there. Yesterday is like it never happened. This morning I was in one life I lived in a hot dry land with work to do and people to fight for. This afternoon I’ll be in another of Olympic afterglow and steady drizzle that I corner-explored and nanny sat. It’s the one where it all began but it feels distant to me right now. Maybe it’s because I’m not yet there. Maybe it’s because I’m moving on. I’m nowhere except up in the air.
