You’re one step along, but you’ve got 89 steps to go.
You can’t help focusing on what’s ahead, because you’re only at the beginning and beginnings have nothing to show for them. They’re in the head, they’re anticipation for things unseen by everyone, even you.
It’s hard when you don’t quite see the goal, can’t quite articulate the goal.
But I’ve been told to not despise small beginnings. Because small beginnings where confidence is light on, and fear is heavy are the best kind of beginnings, the real kind of beginnings, the only kind of beginnings.
So when you get to the start of your road, and things look small, you should know you’re right where you must be.
